Now that the summer movie season is officially over, what do you think the best movie of the season was?

4. F911 was my favorite for obvious reasons, but I saw it for different
reasons than I would see (and did see) other movies. I wouldn't put it in the same category as other summer movies. Among the standard cinematic fare, I would have to say that Collateral was my favorite.

14. NOT Bourne Supremacy.
I wanted to walk out. The whole movie was filmed in shaky-cam. No single shot lasted longer than four seconds, before switching to a new unfocused quick-moving shaky vantage. I left with a headache.

15. I really liked Bourne Supremacy
I don't get the shaky-cam comment- There are lots of movies with that syndrome and I don't think Bourne was one of them

18. Shades of gray.
It wasn't Blair Witch shaky-cam, but it was (in my opinion) more unsteady than the ER shaky-cam. Most of the movie was filmed with (what seemed like) shoulder-mounted cameras that bobbed with the cameramen. And, to me, it felt aggravated by the quick lateral pans and constant switches to new POVs.

Maybe it's mostly a personal perception thing.
