1. IMO the only good one was the first.

The others could have been good, but i never understood that whole "nobody calls me chicken" crap.

3. They were making Marty a more dynamic character.

He needed to have a major failing and that was the failing. This way, Marty's future could be bad initially and he would have a chance to grow and correct it.

4. In part III, I couldn't get over the fact

that his great, great, great grandmother (or whoever she was) looked exactly like his mother, who was not a blood relative. Yea, that makes sense.
