Have you ever dated anyone you met on the DU?

I wouldn't be able to form an opinion without knowing who and I am not asking you to tell me.

I also met KG but alas he is a man too.

I bet they'd be prone to stalking after the first meeting and that's just not something I'd like.

As has already been said, at least you know they're not (one would hope, at least) a rabid right-winger who thinks that the sun rises and sets in George W's liquor cabinet. Of course, that still leaves more than a few other variables open to question......

is a wonderful way to meet people. You get to know them from the inside-out.

Communication is pure...conversation is mandatory. What's so horrible about that?

If you meet someone who you click with politically, and is as passionate about it as you, all the better.

Exercise the standard caution in meeting them offline, however.

I've dated a few people I've met on the internet. Lived with one for 4 years, as a matter of fact.

How can dating someone who is just initially attracted to you physically, without having had hours and hours of conversation prior, safer???
