I got a great review. But unlike the others in my division, I am not being given anything new or different. I felt like I was being slapped in the face.
I've basically spent the day sad and angry because I know they're working to eliminate my division.
To say the least, I'm no longer enthused about working.
I was told I was going to get a raise. I waited nearly a month before asking when it was going to take affect. I was told circumstances had changed & I wasn't going to get it at this time. Then she turned around & piled MORE work on me. Why in the hell am I busting my butt, trying to meet deadlines & having nothing to show for it???? My temporary solution? I think I'll have another glass of wine. Best of luck. I have no answer. Misery loves company.
'misery loves company' is a fallacy. It actually means 'workers of the world unite' but was changed by the corporate elites as a form of social engineering. (:tinfoilhat: ?)
That's what usually works for me when this happens - either your bosses will fire you for disrepecting them, but you'll have fun doing it and you don't like your job that much anyway so no biggie; or else everyone will fear and respect you and you'll rapidly advance.
