Because my wannabe professor sure as hell thinks so. She gave me a card to put my name and contact info and my strengths in research on. Then she asked my group to explain it. I realize I'm not a rocket science, but a trained monkey could figure that out! Sorry. I'm pissed :cry:

She asked others to explain what you had written, while you were sitting there? Or, was the excercise to see if others had the same view of your strengths as you have of your own?

And then she told everyone else to explain to me how to do it as if I'm a few IQ levels below Bush.
Then she thinks I need someone to hold my hand to find a book in the library, find a journal and get an internet source for that stupid Reality Research nonsense. She knows I used to work at the library. Just basically treating me like I'm a complete kettle head. WE're seniors and she thought she needed to hold my hand while I was doing an average the other day. Good God, this woman is making me insane.

That's pretty condescending. I always try to assume that people understand, and try to make clear that i will answer any questions if they don't. But, talking down to people is never a way to get them to learn something.

I think you have a legit gripe, duckie. It would drive me nuts, too.

If she seems too hostile to discuss this with, maybe you should talk with an advisor.
