2. I Cheat The Hangman
I just love that cool, almost prog-rock break towards the end of it.

11. I agree with that one...
AND "To Someone Special" off the "Takin' it to the Streets" album! Written by bassist Tiran Porter it was a lament to the then departed guitarist Tom Johnston!

4. Minute By Minute
But they're all great

And generally I liked the original band (pre Michael McDonald better).

10. "Fool Believes" is one fine song. I agree with you. (Hey, TrainMan)
I like hearing that tune just like I like hearing Clarence Clemmons doing "Sun Ain't Gonna Rise Anymore" ("without love"), Tommy Edwards doing "All In The Game" (one of the greatest, in my opinion), Jr. Walker doing "What Does It Take", and even Elvin Bishop doing "Fooled Around And Fell In Love".

Thank you again, NightTrain...wherever you are on the track.

8. Michael McDonald now has a place on Maui
as do many, many celebrities these days. Michael's is right down the road from my friends', in fact.

Willie Nelson is said to be opening up his own place there soon. A radio station does "Rock Star Wednesday", and almost never has to repeat one.

12. Yet another tough choice
They recorded some great songs. Michael McDonald's a dude, too.

I chose "Black Water," but that was fairly almost-random.....

They took a definite downhill turn when McDonald and Baxter took over.

16. I like McDonald as long as he stays away from Fagen/Becker...
I hate hearing his voice on anything other than a DB record.

Stay, Michael, stay!
