One of my coworkers just burned microwave popcorn.
And not just regular popcorn, but kettle corn so along with the burnt popcorn smell you get the added bonus of burnt sugar.
I think I'm going to :puke:
It is not even 10:00am.

1. I burned microwave popcorn the first time I ever tried it
Never made that mistake again - and definitely not with kettle-style corn. That stuff's addictive.

4. I think that should be grounds for termination!!! But I did solve the...
problem:

I taped on our work microwave: 2:33 minutes exactly for Microwave popcorn.

Seriously, that's how long it takes to get a bulk of the kernals without burning the popcorn

7. A coworker here burnt popcorn so bad
one that it set off the fire alarm and we had to evacuate. LOL. Pluss they could not get the smell out of the microwave and had to get another one.

11. Paul Newman...
get a pack of brown lunch bags. get a big bag of the Paul Newman popcorn. put it in the bag. Sprinkle a little "Butter Buds" in with a little veg. oil. put in microwave--try 3:45 at first. Best popcorn and healthier.

13. Oh I don't know - rotten summer squash and fresh pig shit come to mind.
Bad smells are one of those things that are partially in the nose of the beholder.

15. Having experienced both of those (grew up on a farm, neighbor
had pigs), I'd have to say that burned popcorn is still worse :).

Now mixed bloodmeal and bonemeal as fertilizer would give it a close run for stench.

16. Even done properly, it reeks
We've semi-banned it here, especially in public areas, because of the smell.

I'm not allowed to cook fish.:cry::cry::cry:
