I also liked his version of the song My Old Flame sung by a Peter Lorie impersonator and involving arson.......

I had a friend in college who had all the old 78's. We would get loaded and listen to them and laugh every time, no matter how many times we had heard them. Good lyrics.

I have a tape of his best stuff, and saw a film of them performing "Cocktails For Two."

I almost fell over laughing.

15. kids just wanna have fun

my kids (5 and 6) just love spike jones. and i actually used his racing tune, "Beetlebaum" in a class i taught to 7-9th graders about humor.
