Hopefully I will get the funds I need and I will succeed in this. And Hopefully, I will be able to get a job when this is over.

9. I am studying Statistics.
It is actually a Master's in Applied Mathematics with an emphasis in Statistics.

13. Did The Same Thing
That's the second of my 3 masters degrees. Applied Mathematics and Statistical Mechanics. (I guess really it is a degree in Stat Mech, but that falls under the ApMath umbrella.) I'd have to go back and look at the diploma to see what it really says. I know what classes i took, and what my thesis was, though.

I taught StatMech courses at two different unis in the recent past, too!

Good luck! Since you're doing it voluntarily, i think you'll find it pretty easy. Math classes are always hardest for people who don't want to be there.

4. I wish you luck and I have questions
what is your degree going to be in, and was it the same as your undergraduate degree?

I'm thinking of going back and getting a graduate degree but it would be in something very different from my undergraduate degree.

7. What is your field of study? As a former Prof at a major U. and a teacher
of many graduate students who have surpassed me many times over in their accomplishments, I wish you the very best now and in the future.

If you question your sanity and choice of thesis topic at least 3 times before Christmas, that's actually par -- given the experiences of most of my colleagues.
