I adore dogs, especially puppies, and last night I came across the most adorable "free" screen saver. I knew at the time I saw it I shouldn't do it, but I couldn't help myself.Those puppies were just so cute. Now my computer is now filled with crap, my search results are screwed up and I have to uninstall and undo everything I did. GGGRRRRR.

OK, how dumb am I?

Next time, buy a screensaver or wallpapers that are certifiably spyware-free. They're out there and generally don't cost all that much.

I use them and no problems and also you can add your own pics to the screen savers. Don't feel bad. I fell for the cursor scam one when I was young and innocent. Now I run ad-aware every night to make sure no surprises.
