How you know the Republicans are keying cars
Liberals and Democrats have been reporting minor vandalism to their cars for bearing anti-Bush or pro-Kerry/Gore/Democratic/Liberal messages. Well, the Republican Party is going to make sure that "fairness and balance" enters into the equation.

The graphic is from a GOP-affiliated merchandise site.

They're going to inoculate public discourse as much as they can -- just as they did by whining that they were the victims of "hate crimes" committed by eeeevil libbruls.

1. Don't forget about..
the vandalism Bush and co. claimed Clinton staffers committed on their way out on 2000.

The GOP is untrustworthy when it comes to these kind of accusations.

2. This is why I don't put a Kerry/Edwards sticker in my window
Love my auto too much to risk some freeper/repuke bastard keying it or worse.

8. LOL How will putting a Kerry/Edwards sticker on my CAR Help that???
I fail to make that insane connection that the bumper sticker is the savior of democracy.

9. Your bumper sticker will be seen by between 50-1000 people each day
unless you live in a backwater. There are few better ways to show that you feel strongly about an issue.

I've had neighbors knock on my door about how to get one, I get into at least 2 conversations per week with strangers because of it. Many weeks more - (esp. as I was driving through AZ, NM, UT, and TX this summer on an epic road-trip).

Do not underestimate the power of visible beliefs - they give others courage.

11. There are many who are willing to sacrifice ideals for the dollar
Not even ideals, nessesarily, but Decency.

I guess our Founding Fathers should have just 'chilled'..............because they wouldn't want to have any personal loss for their beliefs.

They had loss... and it was a lot more than bumper stickers and paint jobs.

Get some perspective here.

18. Pictures like those in your sig line are the key
People need to see more of those pictures than bumper stickers, IMHO.

5. Being one of those who had her bumper sticker
KICKED by a facist who didn't like it (Am Flag w' THINK in the blue field, and a Kerry stiker beneath). I will say, yeah, right.

Which group is experiencing the cognitive dissonance that allows for nutzy reactions? The 'True Believer' progressives have passed that phase.

The dissonance in many of their faces is palpable. It hurts me. I would like to help them, but they would accept nothing from the likes of me.

PS - it cost $155 to fix my car. The footprint was soo clear that the guy that fixed it said I should call the cops.

PPSS it happened once before - methinks it is a neighbor.

19. I don't know if keying cars has all that much to do with the sticker
Unless the keying is on the sticker, too. Most of that stuff is random, idiotic vandalism. Or you are targeted for other reasons.
