Does anyone remember how to make the computer go back in time to settings earlier in the day?

Someone explained this to me last year, but I've forgotten how to do it.

1. Netscape ate my Mozilla bookmarks

Any way to restore those?

2. Some DU genius explained how to reset the computer to...

an earlier time, like 8 hours earlier or a week earlier.

That restored everything!

3. In XP you have a system restore point

or if you have Norton's Go Back loaded already.

Check your recycle bin and try an unerase program first, because I don't remember if system restore point handles the bookmarks.

Where would I find this "System Restore Point?"

9. Check your recycl bin perhaps you inadvertenly moved them

go to my computer explore right click on c drive use the find to search your entire c drive for *bookmark* and open each in notpad to
examin which one might be the one you looking for. If you find it then copy it back into .netscape c:\Documents and Settings\username.

11. Click Start...

select Help, then click Use System Restore under Fix a problem.   You'll probably have to scroll down to find it; it's on the left.
