Ok, being quoted in a newspaper is pretty good.
But how many here have contributed to national web sites?

I'm just curious on this.

At these two web sites, do a search for my name, Ross Sauer.

http://www.salon.com/

There are other sites I'm at, but I consider these two to be my "feather in my cap."

1. MSNBC ran one of my letters to the editor
bashing Bush's trifecta quote about a year ago. I had been published in local papers and law journals before, but it that was not nearly as cool as seeing my LTE sit at the top of the MSNBC page for a few days.

2. That's pretty cool also.
MSRNC won't run any of my letters, seems I'm "too liberal" for them, since I said they are a bunch of horses' asses for firing Donahue and hiring Scarborough and Savage.

Hehe. I used to write to the newspapers in my youth (newspapers were like weblogs and such, back in the olden days :) )and I was published so often I felt like a columnist. This was back in the Reagan years and during my vehemently anti-religious period. Boy, did I piss people off. I'm more tolerant now although I still think Reagan was the most corrupt politician to ever serve in public office. Bush is closing in on that record though.

I've given up on letters to the editor. Here in San Diego both papers are so right wing I haven't subscribed in a decade. So I mostly just post on the liberal boards and write to the contacts for websites where I get all my info now-a-days.
