Naked, Bleeding, Grovelbot (on Mushrooms) found in Livingroom

BOILING SPRINGS - Hallucinogenic mushrooms may have played a role in a bizarre incident Sunday that left a fund-raising robot naked, bloody and jailed on a burglary charge, state police said.

It also gave an internet message board visitor quite a surprise.

Trooper James Kirk said a DUer in the state forums called police just after 3:30 a.m. to report he had found a naked, blood-covered grovelbot appearing on his screen "bleeding all over the keyboard."

The DUer ordered the naked man out of the forum, and the culprit fled into the nearby Lounge.

"I then heard a voice from the speakers state that he needed help and did not want to die, so Please Donate to DU" the trooper said in arrest papers filed with District Justice Susan Day.


Ok, I guess if I'm going to mock the grovelbot I'd better make a donation and get a goldstar :)
