Which song do you listen to after a breakup?

(No, I didn't just have one. I'm in a chat room with someone who's a little bitter still.)

6. Dont worry be happy?
Oh yeah I think that would do it. After a couple rounds of that crap with a chaser of Gypsies Tramps and Theives and you could find me with my wrists slit and all of my worries behind me.

7. well, how about Motzart's Requium ?
OK, if I had another break up, I think it'd be going back to my guitar, ( I play mandolin now ), and picking medolys of John Prine tunes,

I tend to play music as much as I listen to it.

There are tons of bluegrass she-left-me songs.

but if I wanted to sit in a room with the lights off..... Roy Orbison or Joni Mitchell's BLUE. and then Don't worry be happy + Gypsies Tramps n' Thieves.

2. I did two hours with Soundgarden's 'Black Hole Sun'
one evening, back when I was separated from my first husband. I put it on the stereo on repeat and cooked and ate dinner, drank some wine, read a few chapters of a book. I guess I wasn't even listening to it so much as enjoying the angst of it. Or enjoying somebody else's angst, for once, instead of my own.
