I hate scooping.
You cat owners know what I mean.

It's not hard or gross or anything. But I hate it anyway. You know why? I get the boxes all cleaned out, refilled if necessary, and give them nice smooth surfaces, and the first one is shit in before I'm done with the second, the second one pissed in before I'm done with the third. Can't they wait until I'm out of the room?

1. Thunder used to do that
he is in Kitty Heaven now, but I SWEAR I wouldn't even be DONE scooping it and he's jumped in there pawing around about to piss in it.

Sheesh.

Clarissa, our living cat, doesn't do that. She is VERY private about her toileting matters! LOL!

9. Cat owners know what the rest of the world doesn't.
Cats have personalities. Most people accept that proposition about dogs, but cats are the same way. It's just more subtle with cats.

2. It's necessary to impose a bit of discipline

and dominance on humans to keep them in line.

3. Mine get so excited with "new sand"..
A few of them get in and just lay down in it..(before there's any "activity"..)

Amber MUST BE FIRST to use it..Just as Skunkie is Always first to drink from the fresh bowl of ICE water..

Marvin is first for Food...

8. Well, it's a small price to pay, isn't it?
I don't know what I'd do without them.

10. That's gross, considering the actual topic of the thread.
I can see where you would think that way, though.

11. My cat is ULTRA-PRIVATE...
about her peeing/pooping activities. the few times i've ever come into the room when she's doing it she freezes stiff as a board (even if she's just covering up!) and won't move until I leave the room.

and when her litter box is all cleaned out she only sometimes pops in to sort of walk around in it a bit but jumps out soon after to beg for food.

as an off-topic but related matter, DOES ANYONE ELSE'S CAT LIKE TO PUKE???

we have to monitor my cats food intake big time, because she's ALWAYS begging for food even if she was just fed 2 minutes ago and pukes it up if u just feed her
