I went to see "The Corporation" Saturday. Terrific documentary.

And what did YOU do? :-)

1. Cried and cried

over the big fight that some members of my family got into on Saturday. Words were said that will ensure that things will never be the same.

Recovering from this is going to be hard.

2. I cleaned walls, scrapped walls, patched walls and

then painted walls. We are redoing our living & dining rooms & I want my life and home back to normal.

3. Mowed the lawn

trimmed the hedges... tried to do the edging but failed.

Bought lots and lots of school clothes & stuff, oh and some new bras, too - and it was tax free... woohoo!

Other than that just the usual bleah stuff.

Oh and while shopping I saw a woman wearing an Obi Wan Kenobe coat. Odd.

4. I played at the Beat Kitchen on Saturday night......

Then I went to my wife's office picnic at the Lincoln Park Zoo yesterday afternoon. She was the coordinator, so I got unlimited rides on the carrousel.

Open bar and free ice cream sundaes. It was perfect!!

5. I spent the weekend reading the DU....so happy I found it !

Friday night - I cleaned house, a little.
Saturday - I went shopping and ate lunch with an old friend.
Saturday night - live music!
Sunday - brunch with fellow DUer
Rest of Sunday - nothign but laundry and housecleaning.

I need to visit Austin again. Dallas is so sucky.
