What email software should I buy?
I've always used Eudora. No complaints, but I'm open for something new. Outlook is 100% crap, so please don't even bother suggesting any MS program.

5. I've been using Incredimail for a couple years now....
I like it a lot. It has a lot of features, skins etc. Some people dump on it for various reasons, badly written software, buggy, messes with your system, but I have had NO problems with it whatsoever.

4. Get Thunderbird - Its FREE
This Open Source email software runs on all platforms.

It runs on my Mac and its great.

It has spam filtering and it is about 98% accurate after training.

As someone who has to handle over 1000 emails a day - this has been a great development. Just installed the latest 0.73 version today.

I use it alongside Eudora (ad version) and am slowly changing over completely to Thunderbird.

I do not use the buggy Apple Mail and none of the browser based software are worth any mention except trouble.

6. Thunderbird, Pegasus, Foxmail -- all free
I've been using Pegasus since I first got online and have seen no reason to change, but I do see other programs recommended more often.

Thunderbird (the mail counterpart of Firefox) is getting a lot of favorable attention, as several of the posts above show.

Foxmail is another that I see recommended fairly often.
