Edited on Fri Aug-06-04 01:11 PM by Q3JR4
If he does that then, quite simply, we fight for our country.

9. "Winning" is not required to become President anymore.
But if Bush is still President next February, the only thing we can do is the same thing we've been doing for the past four years. We have to keep looking past the lies to find the TRUTH, and force others to see the truth. If Bush gets a second term it will be a disaster for this country and the world, but we have the power and the responsibility to try and minimize the damage as much as we can. That's all we can do.

22. People need to know their history!
bu$h always run from the middle. Then when he gets in, he goes hard Right. He did it twice in Texas running for governor and the first time he ran for the presidency.
He is doing the same thing again folks. He has lied three times before about what he would do when elected and he is doing it again. P. T. Barnum would be so proud.

"There's a sucker born every minute."

14. I will sit on the steps of the Canadian Embassy
and cry, and wail, and cry, and moan, and sob, and cry.

Then I'll get back to work. I'll fight him every step of the way. This is my country too and he ain't takin it from me. The only way I'll leave my country is if I am immanent danger of being drafted and shipped of to die in a war I don't support.

16. Bwahahaha...
Only idiots will still be voting for him...and unless you are telling me that the majority of American voters are idiots, Kerry will win in a landslide.

Did you look at today's news on job growth, oil prices, stock market and DOW? And Iraqi insurgents are getting ready for an uprising...

This president is the most incompetent moron we ever had. He has wrecked this country and Americans will not let him do it for 4 more years.

27. After Nixon won, they did Woodstock
And Woodstock '69 kept the undergound energized and the Woodstock spirit outlasted Nixon after at all. It helped sustain the movement and create an atmosphere where Nixon's crimes could be exposed.

In any case, it's gonna take a movement for years to get us out of the mess that Bush got us into. We're in it for the long haul now. :hippie: :yourock:

29. Continue what has already been started.
Keep working on building the infrastructure of powerful progressive organizations like MoveOn and others. Keep working on getting our message out in the media, and on getting media of our own. Keep fighting, and hold our Democratic leaders accountable if they lapse back into appeasement mode. Lose our fear, and start really standing up to these bastards.

I believe that even if we don't win this one, that something powerful has been uleashed in our society and it will continue to grow more and more powerful. We just have to keep organizing, keep fighting, and not give in to fear and apathy.

One way or another, the RW Republicans will destroy themselves, and we have to be ready to step in with our own powerful and coherent vision for this country.

32. Okay...everyone meet at my place in Victoria BC...
...once we have the domestic responsibilities divvied out (I call 'hamock inspector') and stock up on some Poptarts and some Kinder eggs, we all raft across to Everett and comandeer some busses. If your birthday is BEFORE July 31, you head East along the 49th Parallel and turn right just north of DC...

If your birthday is August 1st or LATER, you head east along the US/Mexican border, and up through Virgina to DC.

Virgos should sort of bridge the gap between the two fronts just West of Washington, and force Dub and Company Eastward, toward the Atlantic.

...I haven't worked the rest out, but you get the general idea. I suggest someone bring some duct tape and some dried food.

34. If Bush is (S)elected...
We should all kiss our collective asses goodbye.

Or, we could say prayers...

We could always wish in one hand...

We could shit in the other...

We could always fight his illegal usurpation...just like we're doing now. We can do the latter. If we fail, we die.

35. I am very afraid of this, as well!
I haven't the faith of many others here, since I continue to listen to the poll numbers. America has good reason to be very afraid. I am no exception. I need this advice, as well. As Will Pitt has said, in "The Greatest Sedition Is Silence," it may be already too late.:scared::scared::scared:
