1. I like it!
You could probably make the font a little bigger and center it a little more. And I think that red might be a better color, you know, when you're in debt you're in the red? Just my 2 cents.

2. Good point on the Red!
I figured the Green made it more money oriented. It's still in the design phase, so suggestions are welcome.

I'm just nervous that nobody will get it. My neighbors are hardcore Bushites, but love my son, so this will give them something to think about.

Heh heh heh

3. Love it.
Could change it (or make another) that has

My son supports George W. Bush's
7,322,550,465,839.00 DEBT
(especially his $24,916.00 portion)

4. Oh that's good!
But, I don't think we can blame the WHOLE debt on Bush Jr., though we could blame the vast majority on him and his father's regimes.

5. 75 percent comes from 3 presidents

Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush

OK, I'm guessing on the 75 percent, it's likely higher.

6. I know Reagan bitched about it being $1T when he started
and then, under his leadership (and Bush Sr.) it balooned to at least $4.5T.

Not sure how much it went up overall during the Clinton Administration.

7. I thought that was the deficit - not the debt.

9. I'm pretty sure it was $1T DEBT total in 1980
but I could be wrong. I don't think the defecit was anywhere near $1T. In fact I know it wasn't because we're always hearing how George Jr.'s defecit is the largest in US history.

Unless that's all LIE-beral lies.

Remember Reagan gave that speech about $100 bills stacked 54 miles high?

10. I meant the bumper sticker.
he has 500 billion dollar deficit. Correct? Which is what he has run up in his time - not the total debt from all years...

11. Doh! Sorry!
The $500B is the defecit THIS YEAR (it's actually a little less, $445B, or so, I believe - projected).

Here's a little piece.

http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/news/opinion/9334465.htm

The number doesn't include some expenses he wouldn't declare wrt the Iraq war, at least not until recently. If you tack on the new $25B he's requested, we're looking at $470B

13. Yeah, for the 4 years of *

we have increased the debt by $1,557,962,665,385.

That's $5,300 for every man, woman, and child in the US.
