Catwoman: one of the worst movies to hit the big screen in 5 years.

It sucked. It really, really, really sucked. It sucked comprehensively and on all levels.

Anyone familiar with the "movie" and "tv" series 'Black Scorpion' that was on Sci-Fi for a time might understand just how bad Catwoman really is.

For starters, Catwoman isn't even "Selina Kyle" (you know, CATWOMAN). Halle Barry's character is someone named Patience Phillips.

Lambert Wilson, known for his role as the Merovingian in Matrix Reloaded, plays Phillips' effeminate, arrogant ponce of a boss. And he's even MORE irritating as Phillips' boss than he was as the Merovingian.

The plot is laughable. I don't want to spoil anything, but think "The Crow," only with cats, and the main villain is beauty cream.

The direction is horrible. I mean, REALLY horrible. TV movie horrible. It's directed by some guy named Pitof, whose background is in visual effects. And I don't like to make fun of names, but when you have a single pretentious name and you direct a truly crappy movie, I can make an exception. WHAT KIND OF A NAME IS PITOF???

"Come mit me, darlink. Pitof vill make you fabulous."

"There is no art. There is no science. There is only PITOF."

Anyway... yeah, the movie sucks. Hard.

think about how many millions of dollars were spent on the film. then think of what else that much money could have done: like provide aids meds to thousands in africa, put scores of americans through college, ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

Once again the debauched, violent outrages of Hollywood have been outperformed by a fatso New Yorker with a camcorder (Michael Moore). Truly, if America would watch more political documentaries, we can cut down on the level of gratuitous sex and violence in the cinema.
