Anyone watching Today show (West coast)? What kind of knife...
was that chef just using? It looked like a curved cleaver with two handles, one on each end of the blade.

She chopped cilantro with it as she was making guacamole. Anyone know what that cool knife is called?

I want one! I guess a DUer named "mallrat" should know where to find one. :-)

6. Macy's Cellar...

or any gourmet kitchem store or department.

Williams-Sonoma should be in most malls, or order one from the web.

I had one, and it's a little tricky to learn to use right, but works very well for some things. Things you don't have to hold with one hand.

on edit: If there are any Lechter's Housewares still around, they often have what W-S has for much less.

2. From the description, sounds like a mezzaluna.
Great for chopping up things very fine.
