InkAddict Is In The Hospital

InkAddict (my wife) was admitted yesterday afternoon.

My 20 month layoff, the possibility of losing the house & having to declare banruptcy, caring for my 87 year old father (I'm an only child) coupled with that fool in the WH, as well as other things to complicated to mention here, was just too much for her to carry any longer.

Right now it looks like 3 to 5 days if things go well. If not who knows. Needless to say Ink Addict won't be posting for a while.

Please keep her in mind, drop her an email if your are so inclined, and continue to fight the good fight while she is gone.

I love her posts and am still awaiting her modern day Wizard of Oz with members of the Bush administration...she is a valued poster and a kind person...fun too...I so hope she finds the strength to carry on in the face of all this stress. I wish you both well.

I also wish to commend you both on taking care of your father. I took care of my dad and am the one that will take care of my mom when she can no longer care for herself...it's more work than caring for an infant and in the end, they expire rather than grow so it makes the work and the end result seem all the less rewarding, even though in our souls we know we are doing the right thing.

Best wishes to both of you in the "carry on" department and my prayers to Ink Addict in her recovery.

I had a similar breakdown (health and mind)last fall, so I know how difficult it can be for everyone involved. Some of us think we can solve it all ourselves, the stress ends up getting to us.

Make sure you take care of yourself. It sounds like you've got a lot of stress yourself. :hug:
