2. Last Tuesday August 26, 2003

    I attended a rally at Mike DeWines office and outside of
his office building.  Alliance for Retired Americans along
with the Cleveland, Ohio AFL-CIO sponsored it.  We rallied to
reject proposed changes in the Medicare program. DeWine(R) is
one of the supporters of those changes.  It was quite
uplifting to see possibly one hundred, mostly seniors, activly
demonstrating on behalf of a cause! They chanted slogans, blew
their whistles and even had a "sit down"
demonstration inside of DeWine's office!  1960's Stuff!
