1. You made me laugh, JohnKleeb!
Yes, you will be there before you know it. If I can do it, surely you can. Just don't put pressure on yourself. I only post when I have something to say, like telling you not to put pressure on yourself. Look for posts where you have something to say, which won't be difficult for you. I will be looking for your 1000th. I'm sure you will make it something special. How about a poll? LOL!:7

BTW I finally saw Kucinich on the daily show, really explains a lot why I support him, hes smart on the issues and he can be very witty. Yes I think Donald Rumsfeld is a robot :) whats not to love about that guy.

5. You will defiantly make it JohnKleeb, before you return to school
I will be looking for it:-)

Was Dennis Kucinich on The Daily Show? I am so sorry I missed this as I really like that show when they have political guests, all too infrequently. Gephardt was on fire on that show! I will look for video of Kucinich! Thanks!:7

6. yes he was
Edited on Sun Aug-31-03 05:47 AM by JohnKleeb
Go to comedy central and I will check out Gep. Ok I just saw Dick and I was impressed, I knew he was a great guy. My pm is more detailed but I tell you this, I think Gephardt is easily my first or second pick after Kucinich. I do like Dean and I am proud what his campaign has done but on economics we're poles apart and thats why I like Kucinich above all, Gephardt has the second most sound view on that, Kerry is all around liberal, Edwards has taken on corporate power before and hes a populist, as I said I mentioned the reason I dont support Dean at the moment but I will do as Teddy K did offer him my respect and praise.

8. What I want to know, young man,
is why aren't you doing your homework? :7

Has school started yet for you? It has for my kids, although it doesn't seem to have put much of a dent in my own 16 year old's computer time.

Here's one middle aged mom who appreciates having you on the board.

Keep on posting, JohnKleeb!

13. My 16 year old is likewise a junior this year.
And it's the year of the Great College Search. I've been thinking hard about what kinds of schools to encourage him to go to. I want a generally liberal atmosphere. I'd rather that fraternities and sororities not be very important. And I want the classes to be taught by real professors, not TA's, which means one of the small liberal arts colleges, so no grad students.

Have you done any thinking about this yourself?

17. I am not sure
Geography is actually one of the things I consider important. That said grade wise and classes wise I am not as smart as the others my age here, most of you all are in AP classes :) I wish I could but I dont care, now for schools thats a tough one. I would love to go some where exotic with a nice program, University of Hawaii :) heh, I liked this one place called bridgewater because they had a criminal justice program I liked but I dont know what I want to be anymore so its tough, this place was in between Boston and Providence and I have always wanted to go to New England.

20. BTW, JohnKleeb,
This is a much better photo of Dennis than the previous one. He looks more statesman-like. Is everyone taking Will Pitt's advice? I know he was flamed for this, but don't think he deserved it. He may have Kerry as his first choice, but he has said he is an admirer of Dennis Kucinich.:-)

21. They replaced it Rhi
at his main site and I like it better. On Will's advice, Ive told you that I like Kerry. I am for Kucinich right now, but I could either go Gephardt or Kerry if he backs out and I hope he doesnt :). I think Will was right about Kerry, DUers well staunch Dean supporters dont give him enough credit at times I think, plus Kerry is more liberal all around than Dean, and I like Kerry too. Also Rhi call me John or Kleeb its much more informal that way, thanks. Also heh it should be us Kucinich supporters who would hold Kerry in the most comtempt for his war vote but I am a defender of him and Gephardt.

A very good name.:-)

I told you that I saw Kerry deliver a great speech to the VFW last week on C-Span. I just looked again, but it is still not yet available on their site. I decided then that I could support him, but still prefer Kucinich or Gephardt.:hi:

37. Actually he was sick in that picture!
I should take another one.

He had a reaction to an allergy med (so I found out later) and had whacked out on drinking water several bowls in a couple hours. Barfed all over the place! When I got up I blamed it on one of the cats. Boobie scared the CRAP outta me! First time in 10 years he's ever been sick. Vet explained to me what it was. Tha pic is after things were finally settling down. He was pitiful - LOL!

TMI - Too much information - sorry.... Gotta get a new pic of my Boobie....
