This is surely a sign of the end of civilization as we know it. Why not put the 700 million into upgrades and repairs to the existing stadium?

3. While I'm not a Yankees fan...(Twins fan here)
You simply cannot even think about tearing down Yankee Stadium.
It'd be like tearing down Wrigley Field. And they can't do that (especially since I have yet to see a game there. Ditto for Yankee Stadium)
