Hi everyone. I just thought I'd drop by and give ya'll an update, since the computer here is actually available.

I am now using crutches instead of a walker, which is a lot faster and makes it much easier to get around furnature, junk left on the floor, etc. But when I go out for longer trips, I still need the wheelchair or I get too sore and tired.

My cast comes off on September 10th, and by that time my pelvis should also be healed enough that I can put weight on my right leg and start walking again. I'm going to try to go back to work on September 15th, but I may need to take car service and limit myself to desk duty for a week or so.

I'm moving back home to Brooklyn on Monday. With the crutches I can go up and down stairs by myself, and I'm now strong enough to get up by myself if I fall, so it's safe for me to be left alone. My husband is in Canada right now playing a rock festival. When he comes back we will move back home.

My birthday is October 3rd so I'm going to have a HUGE PARTY at the community center and wear my wedding dress. If you're in the New York area (or want to come here) and would like to attend, PM me.

I still get kind of scared riding in cars and have lots of nightmares about accidents and about losing the baby. It's hard with Cliff being away because I have bad dreams and wake up alone. But I usually write in my journal for a while and go back to sleep. I think it's all part of healing.

I hope I don't have to wait too long before I'm pregnant again. But I'm trying to trust that it will happen at the right time even if that isn't going to be soon.

I love you all so much. It will be great when I'm back home and can use the computer whenever I want to.

I'm returning to one job first and then to the other after I see how I'm doing, and the job I'm returning to understands that I'll need to start slowly.

WHat I really can't wait to do is wear my wedding dress in front of everyone. I just wish my mom and dad could come back for that. Oh Well.
