Mutha Nature is PISSED at us northern Hoosiers this weekend!
4 1/2" of rain Friday night, Inch last night, already 3 inches today, flood warnings overlapping wactches overlapping storm watches overlapping tornado watches....

The Wabash is at 22 FEET (4 feet is normal) and state roads 225 and 43 are drowned,Wildcat Creek is the highest it's been since 1958 and expect to go for a new "Personal Best"...2 people over in the next county drowned yesterday...

And it ain't over YET...Just heard more thunder to the West....

What did Steve Buyer say THIS time?

2. Just keeps barely missing me in Terre Haute
I can see the lightning flashes up to the north - looks more like an artillery barrage than a storm.

4. For some reason, it always seems
That the storms break over Nebraska/Missouri, pick up steam over Illinois, then smash Indiana, pick up steam in Ohio, then hit the East Coast. When I lived up north of Chicago, I think I remember one big storm in about five months time over the spring/summer.

5. We had a gully-washer here.
A heck of a downpour went through Sheboygan county about 6:30, it just came down in buckets.
My driveway looked like the Big Muddy.

An hour later, the sun was out.

Rain, wind, thunder. Knocked the power out in the western suburbs for 12 hours.
