Woman Robs Store 9 Minutes after Release From Jail

BEAVER FALLS, PA-July 18, 2004 — Police in Beaver County say a woman robbed a store within minutes of being released from police custody for an earlier robbery.

Beaver Falls police say Sharon Armstrong of Beaver Falls was released yesterday after allegedly robbing a doughnut shop when the weekend district justice advised police to release her and mail the charges.

Nine minutes later, police say, Armstrong went to a hot dog shop and demanded money, claiming she had a gun.

Police caught Armstrong at the shop and this time, the district justice told police to arraign her.
