Well, I'm Unemployed Again! Ain't that great!

I just lost my job among right wing fundies because, "I don't fit in."
That was the first reason given and I guess I am not allowed to march to
that different drummer. I was here 21 months, so I guess they were just a little slow to figure it out.

No more health benefits for awhile, etc.

I won't go into any details, so don't ask. I just need you prayers or sympathy, or empathy or whatever you can do. Life is pain and anybody that says different is selling something! (Quote from some movie.)

Just keep swimming! (Another quote but I know where it is from! :0)

The worst part is that this really tears up my family. My kids were "fitting in" well at school, etc. but now they must leave the area. It stinks.

My husband just went back to work after being unemployed for a year. He got a job a job offer a year to the day after being laid off from his state job due to budget cuts. Great economy we have!

This is a terrible time to be unemployed so I am totally sympathize with you. Bush's America sucks! I hope you find something soon.

I presume you are not protected in your state. It pisses me off no end that they are protected from being fired no matter how obnoxious their beliefs are but they are permitted to fire people they don't like anytime they want.

I just this very moment committed to buying a used mobile home, because I cannot afford to pay the high rent house I and my family now live in ... my monthlies will drop $500 from this move ...

I am unemployed, I just opened a new business, and it's moving slower than we expected or desired ....

We are scared to death .... We hate to think we wasted our precious nest egg on a stinker business, but we now see it's going to be a tough road to hoe: I MUST get an outside job ... just to buy food and pay the rent ....

Im prayin for both of us ... and let me tell you: I never pray ....

Those right-wing fundies should read the book that St. Luke wrote to your namesake and take a few lessons from the words of Jesus, the apostles and early Christians about love and sharing and caring. May they be forever ashamed of the pain they've brought you when they should have shared the joy.

I don't know where you live but I live in N Dallas and it's painfully conservative I think I lost my job too, I'm a female who doesn't like huntin' and fishin' haha. My boss took some legal pad pages I had thrown away where I wrote down thoughts about how much I hated being there. The next day he calls me into his office and says he or one of his people went through MY TRASH CAN and found this and well, he just "couldn't trust me anymore." This guy wore 2 concealed handguns, I saw him take off one when we went to TGIFridays and it was a big mo fo.
But it's a right to work state and they can sack you if you wipe your nose on your sleeve.
I am in paralegal school now.
