One more tale of an "F 9/11" conversion
Conservative 30-something friend, never votes ("Hey, they're all the same!"). Went to see the movie everyone is talking about.

Reaction: If you had told him some of the things (like the "Watch this drive" or seven minutes of blankness), he wouldn't have believed them. But now he's seen them for himself.

He's registering; he's voting....and it won't be for any Republicans, trust that!

One voter at a time...

2. Me too
My mormon republican friend asked me to go see F911 which was shocking because she calls me lefty. Before the war started she would ask me if i finally changed my mind and thought it was a good thing to do, i always said no, end of subject. So i get the tickets in advance so she can't back out, i make her pick me up to be sure once again she can't back out. We get there 1/2 early, settle in, no popcorn or candy, didn't think i'd be able to eat once it started. It starts, she's quiet, about 1/2 through when MM voice over starts talking about the media and how many American were ignorant of the facts she looks at me and says..."That's me, not anymore!". I pat her on the back, make the i understand noises and head movements and we finish watching, meanwhile people are cheering, booing, laughing and crying. We come out when it's over and she was so mad, at herself mainly and then at * and his minions. She actually told me she was sorry for giving me so much shit for the past 2 years, i told her she needn't apologize because the fact that she now has opened her mind up to what's really going on it made it all worth it.

3. Thanks
I love these stories... They give a lift to the day. Today a fellow colleague confided she had voted for Bush but was now seriously considering Kerry. We had a nice talk. One at a time...

4. Please remember something:
Yes, it definately is one at a time, but please think, for a moment about what each of these people represents, to a demographer. How many more people are out there, just like them?

Lots. A real lot. The party is over for Dear Leader.

5. On a different note....

I saw my fatherinlaw today... took a few jabs at him... (in a nice way) and all he knew was that Joe Wilson lied about everything with regards to the Niger issue and the yellowcake. As you can probably tell.... he is a died in the wool Repub... and a Fauxsnooze devotee. These guys... (Fauxsnooze) are mighty good at propagandizing whatever it is that they are spouting off about.... shame.
