My buddy is on his way back from Iraq

My buddy is on his way back from Iraq
His 2nd tour there with the 1st Marine Division.
He is already in Kuwait and will be home in 24 hours, then discharged in a few weeks.

He was decorated for heroism on his first tour, so we were all a little anxious that his luck might not hold out.

I can't tell you how happy and relieved we all are.

We apologize that we were unsuccessful in bringing him home sooner and we will try in the future to make sure he is never put in harm's way for fraudulent reasons again.

I'm so glad your buddy is on his way out of there. I took a 60-something ex-Marine and his wife out to see the Michael Moore film last night (which they approved of, since "enjoyed" is hardly an appropriate word for something that brought them to tears). They are concerned about the safety of this new generation of troops, and have been very active in registering expatriate American Dems to vote.
