Someone tell me why Jeter is starting over Tejada in all star game
Edited on Mon Jul-12-04 09:56 PM by Cousinit13
Jeter is hitting .277 with 13 HRs and 48 RBI's and Tejada is hitting .311 with 15 HRs and 75 RBI's not to mention he just kicked ass with 27 overall HRs in the Home Run Derby tonight...someone explain to me why???

1. Because the fans voted him in.
Simple as that.

2. Because the fans vote
Why is Giambi starting at 1B? When you leave it to the fans, the results can be a bit strange.

3. Miggy is soooooooo overrated
I've never seen a player ride one stupendous month (A's win streak) to such accolades. Although tonight he was incredible.

He's had a good first half, except that his team stinks. And as a Yankee fan, I can tell you, he or ANYONE (except Nomar, injured) should be starting over Jeter tomorrow night.

10. Miggy's great
I was glad to see him win the HR derby tonight, although why in the world does the Bush Crime Family have to impose their sinister presence in *everything*? I almost retched every time Poopy's evil senile mug appeared on the screen.

I suspect we can all agree with that, even if we don't agree on who should start at short tomorrow night for the AL.
