Anyone else been dealing w/ frickin' millipedes? I live in Central VA and
we've been having a boatload of rain, and they are everywhere!!!!! They're getting into my house and everything. Gross!!!

1. We have recently been awash in caterpillars
here in Northern New York State. And they certainly are hungry!

rains, and so as soon as you think they're gone, nope, here they come. Apparently, there's not much you can do (thought about calling Terminix or someplace like that). Gives me the itchies just thinking about it?!

6. EEW! That is creepy!
I really wouldn't mind the caterpillars if they didn't destroy the vegetation. They are kind of cute and fuzzy. When I was a kid, we used to put them in a jar with leaves and twigs in it and wait for them to build a cocoon. We never knew what kind of butterfly or moth was going to emerge. It was pretty neat.:-)

5. and its damn near impossible to sneak up on em'
and kill them...they are so damn brazen they will craw into the middle of the room but as soon as you go after one with a shoe...poof they are gone, fast little f'ers. I had one in my dorm room's bathroom that I kid you not was the size of a small snake. Nasty little critters

8. The damn thing was a good 4-5 inches long
and I go to school in South Jersey!!!!! That thing must have been living in the pipes for years, not anymore though...I had the boy from across the hall take care of it
