Any old movie experts here?

Someone mentioned cable showing horrible movies...I remember when I was a kid on the late late show they kept playing this movie about a guy who killed people by making it look like suicide...he taped up the windows and lit a gas stove or something and got away with it by hiding under the floor with a gas mask. Does this ring a bell with anyone? It scared the piss out of me as a kid but they don't show old movies anymore, just bad cable movies =)

3. Sorry can't help you but I agree about the crud being shown on

cable. I was told that Ted Turner brought all the old movies so they now only get played on Turner Classic movie channel.
