I think it's in Luke somewhere, I'm not sure. The idea is to give to whoever asks you. Need the verse for a fundie.

1. Luke 6:29-30 and Matthew 5:42
Do Luke 6:29-30 and Matthew 5:42 oblige us to give away all our stuff to anyone who asks?

And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

"Ask" and "borrow" in Hebrew are synonyms in a certain sense: A difference is made in Hebrew between borrowing something tangible (a book or a coat) and borrowing something interchangeable (money, flour, etc). Jesus uses the two different senses in this verse: "Give to him that asketh thee (for a thing like a book or a coat), and from him that would borrow (flour or money) of thee turn not thou away."

2. Matthew 5:40-48.
Matthew 5: verses 40-48, specifically verse 42, but the whole context is important and powerful to make your point.

no wonder I'm not a believer, too much stuff to remember!

Curious though, How to the fundies get to heaven, they all seem to violate this one..

Matthew 5:44

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
