3. I just left three cats and the furniture
She's trying to get me to take the cats. Of course, she wants to keep the furniture. Too bad for her I paid for it...

4. What does your attorney say?
Are you married or simply co-habiting?

If you have a lawyer, tomorrow you call her/him.

If you don't, who's name is on the lease?

She does NOT want the cat or the furniture? What do YOU want?

Please respond to the above and I'll tell you what I advise (if you want me to ...), ok?

First it was the cat:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=105&topic_id=138788&mesg_id=138788

and now it is the cat AND the furniture?

I'm sorry to have to tell you this but I think YOU may be going next. When it was the cat, I was kind of thinking you could work with her a little bit, but now I dunno. If there is that much about you that is so wrong she can't live with it anymore, then maybe you two need to sit down and decide do you want to keep this up.

I realize that single folks don't always spend a lot (or even have it to spend) on furniture, but I'd think she could kind of gradually work new stuff in over time... Is everything with her gonna be her way or the highway?

Sorry, but I think you two need to have a long talk about where this is going.

6. Take you cat and get the hell out of there!
It's come down to a choice between her and the cat, right?

Has you cat ever treated you the way she is treating you?
