Oh man, last time I was in Savannah, GA. We knew some folks on the military base. We could get that stuff for $6 for a case (24) of cans. It wasn't good mind you, but it wasn't bad. Pretty much tasted like a lite beer. Granted that was, damn, 14 years ago, so it may have gone up a buck or two...Kevin.

Not the Crown & Anchor, but I do know Shiner.

And Shiner is only cheap in certain parts of Texas. It's currently marketed as a premium beer.

I don't drink it.

That said, I'll drink MGD. It's not considered the cheapest of the cheap, and that's not why I drink it. It's just the only half-way decent domestic on-tap I can get in bars around here.
