I was plagued with them for years and this was magic for me.

I take a couple the first inkling that one is coming.

5. 2000 mcg Lysine at night. Morning. Until the tingle goes away.

Start taking it the moment the tingling starts and the cold sore will not ever show up.

My cousin came into NY from Johannesburg with her mouth covered in cold sores. I gave her the lysine and they cleared right up. She still takes it when the tingling starts and no more cold sores.
