I was laid off two days ago, don't ask me anything
Edited on Fri Aug-22-03 01:08 AM by Mountainman
The new CFO comes into my office and tells me that they are reorganizing the accounting department and that my job is being moved to Maryland and as of that day I am no longer employed.

Then he tells me to get my personal things together and leave the premises with in the next 30 minutes as he sits there and watches me like I'm going to do something bad or what ever I don't know.

Well maybe something good will come of this.

2. Wow really sorry to hear that
and the gestapo way they do it makes it all the worse. Even when we have to lay people off at my place, we're not asses about it..if they are a good employee we get them severance and even look around the industry to see if we can help them.

I wouldn't hire someone I didn't trust so why treat them like shit if we are going through hard times?

I wish you the best in finding work soon.

HUGS
