Thank you, Veterans!

Some of our servicemen and servicewomen asked what they could do for their country. Others courageously answered their country’s call. They all risked their lives, and a million of them gave up their lives, including my Great-Uncle Clarence in Korea. To them I give my greatest thanks.

I send my warmest regards to all of those who served our nation and protected us. :loveya:

I extend a big, warm DU THANK YOU for your service.

1. You're welcome, however, let's remember what this day is for
Memorial Day is to thank all the people who are not with us to hear our words of thanks.

God Bless their souls. Especially the ones who died for nothing (like in Iraq and Vietnam).

(Veteran's Day is for the living vets among us).

2. Well, I felt obliged to say this to thank our living ones too.
But you're right. This holiday is about our deceased veterans and soldiers.
