I think Mars is calling me home...
Edited on Thu Aug-21-03 08:38 PM by dolo amber
being an Aries and all...SOMETHING'S up cos my entire life is mass weirdness at the moment. So, answer me 2 quick questions to quell my chaotic mind.

First: So I go for this job interview Tues. Things went swell! They say they'll call me in a day or two, they have some other people to talk to. Fair enough. I get up this morning, there are 3 calls in quick succession on my caller ID from the company I interviewed with. Which is odd, I'm thinking, but I of course call them to see what's up. They pass me around to like 15 people, all of whom say they have NO idea who I am, and the person I interviewed with wasn't in today. Ok, so like an hour later, they call AGAIN. They say there's was some confusion, so sorry and all, they DID call, they want me to come in and see them this afternoon. "YAY!"! thinks the reader, but oh no. I get there all smiles and expectations, only to be told...*drumroll please*...they don't know what I'm talking about, and the person to whom I spoke earlier is gone. :wtf:!!!!!!!!!

Second: My 3 year old is possessed, schizophrenic or just has a FRIGHTENINGLY good imagination. She's always talked to some *unseen* thing. Since she was about a year and a half, anyway. Lately it's just become really weird. She'll stop playing in mid stream, look around, and RUN to the bottom of the stairs, where she proceeds to carry on a brief conversation with *whatever*. Sometimes she'll laugh, sometimes she's like "No, you can't go in there" or something to that effect. And whenever I ask her about it she gives me the oddest "you poor, poor dumb thing" look and just goes on about her business!! I've started creeping up behind her to see what she's saying but then I realize what I'm doing and go lie on the couch with a cold cloth to my head. :tinfoilhat:

And lastly: WHAT is the NSMA car hood story? Is there a story? Is it a closely kept DU secret? I think I speak for all relative newbies when I say, "Let us in on your funny, funny joke, DUers, we enjoy the laughter too, y'know."...

</end rambling>

edit:ghastly, rubbish spelling and grammar

1. How irritating for you. I hope you get the darn job after all that.
My son does -or did- this. He used to hold an entire conversation with someone/thing that wasn't there. Does your daughter have playmates? I always chalked it up to him being bored or lonely. But it was very spooky.

Best of luck in what I hope is your new job!
