6. I've found..
the infamous "C" word (one syllable, rhymes with "front")
is just about the most universally offensive word.

I know it has other meanings in different contexts, but it still offends me as a gut reaction.

That's also true of a couple racist words I won't mention here.

That said, too many people take short cuts when using certain terms and don't make their intentions clear, thereby blurring context.
