2. One of the things I like about this neighborhood... Babylon, NY
is that any and every kind of air craft take off and land at what used to be the Republic-Fairchild plant a couple of miles up the road.
Today's sights were the Blue Angels and the Confederate Air Force.
Since the last post, from my perch on my deck, I have seen 4 P51's, the F18's several times, the B17 tiwce and possibly 2 different A4D's.

a Flying Fortress, 4 Mustangs? Wow. I'd be more interested in seeing those airborne than the Hornets. (See those all the time...not too foar away from an Air Force base AND a small Naval Air Station).

8. I saw the Blue Angels for 3 days in a row
here in Annapolis at work. Naval Academy Commisioning Week. Utterly amazing.

would have loved to see some neat WWII planes like a P-51 or a Corsair

Come on up to the EAA Convention Fly-in In Oshkosh, WI July 27 - August 4 of months. You'll see a metric shitload of old warbirds.
