A Funny Story for Dog Lovers

A few months ago I took my welshTerrier into a local pet store ...

While I was waiting in line, I got into a chat with a guy who was there with his german shepherd ...

I proudly told him that I had trained my dog to bring in the newspaper that gets delivered just outside my garage door ...

He smiled and told me that it had taken him several months to train his dog to bring in the newspaper ... at first, the dog showed no interest whatsoever in the paper ... then, for a few weeks he would pick up the paper but just run around with it ... finally, the dog learned to bring the paper from the end of his driveway and leave it just outside the front door of his house ...

he told me he was satisfied with this arrangement ... for several days in a row, his dog dutifully brought the newspaper right to his front door ...

but then, one morning when he went to the door to bring in his paper, there were more than 15 newspapers there ... his dog had scoured the neighborhood and retrieved every newspaper he could find ...
