It was broccoli cheese soup from Breugger's Bagels. One taste, and it went in the sink.:puke:

And the sad thing is that I love broccoli cheese soup.

1. No way
The worst soup is Lacroix Shrimp Soup (quite expensive BTW).
I double checked the label for a "Cat Food" remark before pouring it in the sink.

10. LOL!
That must really be bad. Did you give it to the cat?

The worst soups here I've ever tasted have been the "organic" canned stuff. It's all horrible. :puke:

4. chili
Once I made a big pot of chili con carne.
By mistake I used cinnamon instead of chili powder.
LOL.

6. I actually put cinnamon in lots of savory dishes
Probably not in the proportions you did though.

Cinnamon on chicken is delicious.

7. Cinnamon's a good herb to use in some savory stuff.
So is nutmeg.

8. Ah, Breugger's
The home of the cardboard bagel. At least that's what the texture of the bagels from the Breugger's shops in Albany remind me of. In a sick, twisted sort of way I enjoy them though. Never tried their soups. The creamy ones look as if they add gelatin.

12. I have a soup story....
20 years ago, I had the worst soup I have ever had. This was a memorably awful soup. I had ordered Mulligatawny Soup from this Indian Restaurant on Colesville Road in Silver Spring, MD. The restaurant was torn down in 1987 to make room for an office Building, it was in a house.

The soup was water with garlic powder and cumin I think, some frozen vegetables, and - the thing that made it memorably bad - Torn up vienna sausages. The waiter sprayed something on it as he served it. I asked what it was and he sprayed me with some of it and said it was rose-water....

I have since had great Indian food, but this was the worst restaurant, and soup, experience of my life
