University Cancels Annual PORNFest

BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- One of the rites of spring is canceled at Western Washington University -- the annual Pornfest.

Officials have decided to pull the plug on the Pornfest after 12 years. The school had come under fire for allowing activities like a condom hunt and a self-gratification information booth.

The event had been organized by the school's Sexual Awareness Center. Center director Hanako Lombardi says students will miss out on an opportunity to learn more about sexuality.
