Why won't my Bleeping Scanner work?????????
:nuke:

geez, it seems like ever since I got my computer "fixed" I can't get the printer to work, now the scanner.......it won't let me scan new stuff!!

Help!! What's not connected??? What do I do now??? :(

2. Go to control panel...
click on Add New Hardware. If your computer was reformatted, new hardware will need to be added back to it.

How do I add new hardware??? :shrug:

USB device, is this a scanner? (I don't know, I'm really confused) :crazy:

6. some are usb, some parallel port
some are both, mine is.

If your computer is detecting new hardware (usb, etc) let it install it. It will walk you through the install.

5. Calm down, take 10 deep breaths and help us help you...
What operating system do you use? (Windows 98, 2000, XP or perhaps a Mac)

Describe any error messages you are getting.

The name of the software you are using is also helpful.

7. Windows 98.....
I'm going into Imaging for Windows (just off the Start Menu,etc) and my imagining comes up but I can get the option of scanning any new documents......

8. I think I installed it.........
I fiddled around, don't know what I did, but I think I can scan now..........

You might try a hammer next time!

J/K, I run 98, and had to reformat several times recently.
I know how frustrating it can be.
