Though I would say that what they might be serious about is grabbing soem fun money from people. Judging by the whimsical design of the site, I don't think it takes itself too seriously either. If it were truly serious, it would be full of claimers like "Using the Branck-Steiner methodology, the most accurate numerological system for issues of romance" and "remember to use your full name - including middle and suffixes - or else you'll get a wrong answer". Stuff like that. :-)
