Please gush over my kitties
Newman (part siamese) and Millie (who is much bigger now).

We had to put Newman down in 2003, but we think that our newest cat, Cosmo, is possessed by Newman--lots of similar traits.

1. Oh my.... that is so cute...
Especially the way that Newman is making himself comfortable ON TOP of Millie. Sorry he's not around anymore. Cute.

3. What beauties!
Very cute picture. Sorry for your loss. I love it when kitties just flop onto each other and don't seem to mind.

4. thank you!
That was the first week we had Millie. Newman was constantly trying to "assert" himself that whole week--even though he didn't have the equipment.

Were Evita and my Monty separated at birth?

21. Cosmo and Ricco are always together.

They sleep togther and when Cosmo gets in bed with us at night, Ricco will start meowing for Cos. Cosmo sometimes meows for him and he comes in our room or he'll go get him.

24. what an adorable picture!!!!!
Reminds me a bit of last night... As I lie down to sleep on one half of the bed, Millie and Siouxsie were cuddling and grooming each other on the pillows over on the other half of the bed.

25. They do the same thing
The first week we had them, Cosmo is sucking on Ricco neck like he was nursing. For days Cosmo was drooling all the time. They now clean each other and then chase each other around the house.

26. When we first got Siouxsie
She would often "nurse" off of Newman. Of course, Newman didn't have the goods for that either, but I think what Siouxsie was really looking for was comfort.

30. Probably the same with Cosmo.

The boys were in litter of six (one was adopted when this pic was taken) .......

Ricco was adopted once before we got him (for less than a month) and they gave him back to his foster mom.

Cosmo was sooooooo attached to his foster mom and the other kitties. So he was very shy when we got them and stayed next to Ricco 24/7. He hid a lot but would only come out when Ricco would get brave and explore.

I wish I could have gotten them when they were younger. But, we didn't lose Mickey until October and got the boys in mid November.

Here's a picture of their mama. Comso looks just like her. The littler was 6 tabbys and 6 black cats. Cosmo was the only one that was 100% black.

8. I did indeed
I love to crochet.... wish my hands (carpal tunnel and arthritis) were more cooperative.

Thank you for the sympathy on Newman, but he really is in a better place.

We almost named Cosmo "Uncle Leo". Maybe next time.

Probably Dolores for the next girl kitty.

27. People ask me the same question.
We name our Cosmo after Cosmo Castarini (Moonstruck - Vincent Gardena) and Ricco was almost Rocco (Madonna's son). I wanted both the cats to have Italian names.

I guess my priorities are all wrong (and I've been told so). I'll bypass a baby just to get to a kittycat!

31. Great pic....
I have five: Ariel, Bucephalus, Caledonia, Phoenecia, and the killer-cute Antioch. I was playing with them (they deigned to allow me to.) I threw a crumpled ball of paper toward the ceiling fan, trying to get it to stay on one of the blades. I wasn't haveing much luck, but Pho-Pho and Antioch were watching, heads moving up-and-down, up-and-down; then it landed and STAYED. You should have seen the looks of absolute amazement: pupils enormous, mouths open. They stared at it for about a minute until I turned the fan on and the ball came flying down, and the both RACED around after it. They truly are SOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO smart.
